Stuff Everyone Asks
(So You Don’t Have To)

My fee for weddings in 2025 and 2026 is £750, with a cheeky discount to £700 for off-peak dates (because I like to keep things flexible for you clever planners out there).

This price covers everything you need to make your ceremony unforgettable, with the only extras being for travel beyond 60 miles or an overnight stay – usually only if your venue is more than a 5-hour round trip.
(Basically, if I need snacks and a playlist to get there, we’ll chat logistics.)
Just let me know, and I’ll work it out.

Now, here’s me being upfront:
if you do a bit of Googling, you might find a few cheaper celebrants
(and others who charge twice as much as your wedding cake too).

But choosing the right celebrant isn’t about hunting for a bargain and hoping for the best;
it’s about finding someone who’ll deliver a ceremony that feels so you
that your guests won’t stop talking about it.

What I can promise is that I pour my heart (and quite a few cups of coffee) into every ceremony I create.

I genuinely love what I do, and my couples seem to think I’m pretty good at it too. So, if you’re looking for a celebrant who’ll make your day amazing without breaking the bank, I’ve got you covered.

To lock in your date, it’s a £95 deposit, with the rest due four weeks before the big day.
Easy peasy.

And hey, if the cost feels like a stretch, no hard feelings!
I’d be more than happy to recommend some of my celebrant colleagues who might fit your budget better. The most important thing is that you have the day you’ve always dreamed of.

Everything you need for an epic wedding ceremony.

From the first meeting to the final cheer as you walk back up the aisle, I’m here for it all.

Together, we’ll plan your ceremony, I’ll expertly craft a script that’s all about you, and on the big day, I’ll deliver and manage every moment like a pro.

You’ll have my undivided attention – no double-booking nonsense here. Your wedding day is exclusive to you (and me, obviously). Plus, I come armed with my top-notch mobile PA system and wireless microphones – perfect for playing your aisle music, ensuring everyone hears your vows loud and clear, and making outdoor or big venue ceremonies a breeze.

And because I’m a fully accredited Humanists Ceremonies© Celebrant, you’ve got the peace of mind that comes with full professional indemnity and liability insurance.

In short, I’ve got you covered – from the “I do” to the mic drop.

Ah, the legal bit – not exactly the most romantic part of wedding planning, but it’s got to be done.

Here’s the lowdown: in England and Wales, Humanist ceremonies are still awaiting legal recognition (don’t get me started).

So, you’ll need to do the legal registration separately at your local register office.

But here’s the good news – this can be quick, simple, and totally fuss-free. Think of it as the paperwork bit before the real celebration. Most couples book a weekday slot (cheaper and easier to nab) with just two witnesses.

Save the big vows, rings, and all the feels for your Humanist ceremony – that’s where the magic happens.

Need advice on how to get this sorted? Just ask. I’m here to guide you through the boring admin so you can focus on the fun stuff.

And who knows, maybe one day we’ll ditch the extra step when Humanist weddings finally get the recognition they deserve!

Here’s the thing: just because you’ve booked a registrar doesn’t mean you’re locked into having them do the whole shebang.

You’re perfectly entitled to switch your booking to a basic Civil Marriage Registration (also known as a 2+2).

This is where you, your partner, and two witnesses nip in to sign the legal paperwork – short, sweet, and no frills.

It frees you up to have me create the unforgettable ceremony you really want, filled with all the personality and magic you’ll actually enjoy (no generic scripts here, promise).

If you’re not sure how to change your booking with the registrar, don’t worry – I’ve helped loads of couples navigate this.

Drop me a line, and I’ll guide you through it step by step. No panic, just solutions. Let’s get you back on track for the dream day you deserve!

Not even close. And while I’m sure there’s no intention to confuse, let’s clear this up: what they’re offering is not bespoke. It’s the same script everyone else gets, with your names carefully copy-pasted in. Lovely, right?

Here’s the deal: with registrars, your “customisation” options usually boil down to choosing some music (which your venue probably handles anyway), popping in a couple of readings (yay?), and picking from a list of standard vows. And that’s it.

No weaving in your love story, no personal touches, and certainly nothing that feels like you.

What I do is literally worlds apart. Your ceremony is entirely unique, written just for you, and packed with moments that’ll have you and your guests laughing, crying,
and declaring it the best part of the day.

This is your love story –
it deserves more than a fill-in-the-blanks script.

So, if you want something truly unforgettable, you know where to find me.

Oh, absolutely!

Whether you’re tying the knot in Newcastle, Northumberland, the North East or a dreamy destination far, far away, I’m in.

I’ve got my suitcase, passport, and playlists at the ready.

For weddings that take me out of my usual stomping grounds, I do quote separately to cover travel time and any extra costs (planes, trains, automobiles… snacks – the essentials). But don’t worry, I do my best to keep these costs as low as possible because, let’s face it, no one likes a surprise bill.

So, whether it’s a windswept castle, a sandy beach, or a quirky venue halfway across the globe,
give me the details, and
I’ll work it all out.

Your dream location + my ceremony magic = unforgettable!

Easy peasy – I promise no faff, just excitement!

Here’s how we make it official:

  1. Say Hi – Pop me a message through my contact form, email, or even carrier pigeon (kidding… mostly). Let me know your wedding date, location, and any early ideas you’ve got brewing.

  2. Have a Chat – We’ll arrange a no-pressure chat to see if we’re a match made in ceremony heaven. This is your chance to ask all the questions and share your vision.

  3. Secure Your Date – If you’re ready to make the leap, just a £95 booking fee secures your date in my diary. This fee is non-refundable, but hey, it means no one else can nab me for that day.

  4. Let’s Make It Official – I’ll send over a simple booking booking form, contract and your invoice. It’s all done online and takes no time on the device of your choice. Once that’s signed and sorted, you’re in the diary, and we’re good to go.

  5. The Fun Begins – From there, we’ll plan your amazing ceremony, and you’ll get all my support, ideas, and expertise right up to the big day.

It’s that easy – no stress, no complicated forms, just one step closer to the best wedding ceremony ever. Ready to book? Let’s do this!

No problem at all – you don’t need to be! You don’t even have to know what Humanism is (although I do have a cracking explainer
if you’re curious).

I work with couples of all beliefs, non-beliefs, and everything
in between.

My ceremonies are all about you – your story, your values, your vibe. Whether you’re firm believers in the power of love, hopelessly soppy or can’t stand any of the smushy stuff, I’ll create something that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

Think of me as your personal ceremony tailor – I’ll stitch together something unique and fabulous that fits you perfectly.

So, don’t stress about labels or categories. If you’re kind, fun, and love a good celebration, we’re already off to a great start!
